What the numbers show

Percentage of pupils enrolled in primary education who are at least 2 years over-age for their current grade, rural, both sexes (household survey data) (%) is currently reported for 35 countries. The highest value is 60.7% in Ghana; the lowest is 1.6% in Chile.

The median across all reporting countries is 22.5%, and the mean is 23.2%.

The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 38.
